5 years ago, August 1st was a very sunny day in Manchester. And it was a fitting day to do a deal with Hugh Campbell of GP Bullhound with the support from my long term buddy Stuart Scott-Goldstone. Hugh acquired Northern Tech Awards, which continues to be the key tech event of the North. He achieved what I could not, by taking the show to Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Next year it will be back in Manchester.
