What this means

    How it works
    • MRR growth = (MRR this month − MRR last month) ÷ MRR last month. If last month was £0 it shows “–”.
    • Runway = cash in bank ÷ monthly net burn, in months. If net burn is £0 or less, the business is not burning cash and runway is not limited by burn.
    • Burn multiple = monthly net burn ÷ net new annual recurring revenue (net new MRR × 12). Under 2 is usually seen as efficient and over 3 needs explaining. This is a rule of thumb, not a hard line.
    • Runway rating (rule of thumb): 12+ months is healthy, 6–12 months means watch it and plan your raise, under 6 months means act now. Raising often takes 4–6 months.
    • Colours and arrows: ▲ and ▼ show the direction of change. Green means the change is good for the business (for example burn going down), red means it is not. Team size is shown in grey because growing or shrinking can be either.
    • Bars: each metric row has a small bar pair. The grey bar is last month and the coloured bar is this month, both scaled to the larger of the two.
    • Privacy: nothing you type leaves your browser. Your draft is saved in this browser’s local storage so you can come back to it.
