What this means

    How it works
    • Blended list price = each plan’s monthly price × its share of customers, added up. If your shares do not add up to 100%, they are scaled so they do, and you will see a note.
    • Average revenue per customer = blended list price × (1 − annual discount × share of customers on annual). For example, 30% of customers on annual with a 16.7% discount lowers average revenue by about 5%.
    • Customers needed = monthly revenue target ÷ average revenue per customer, rounded up. Customers per plan are that total split by plan share, rounded so they add up to the total.
    • Gross profit at target = revenue target × gross margin.
    • Price changes apply the same percentage to every plan. “Customers needed at the new price” assumes your plan mix and annual share stay the same. “Revenue if you keep the same customer count” assumes nobody leaves or chooses a cheaper plan because of the change. In practice a price rise usually loses some customers, so treat these as the upper bound.
    • Monthly figures for annual customers are their annual payment spread across 12 months. Churn, VAT and payment fees are not included.
    • Everything is worked out in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
