Techcelerate Coffees Manchester #24

We held the first event of Techcelerate Coffees Manchester in 2022 on 24th Feb. This was the 24th such event held in Manchester since restarting Techelerate in 2018. Unlike previous events, we had two false starts in 2022 before this event took place.

Companies represented at the event included:

• Telcom – Founded by Doug and Shaun, who took over building of Manchester’s Tech Ecosystem from Techcelerate just before 2013. Doug has now left the business. Telcom raised £63 million Private Equity funding in 2021. Now have over 100 staff in Manchester and elsewhere.
• Total Processing – Payment processing. I’ve known Cameron since he was at GP Bullhound many years ago. They now have over 50 staff.
• Ryft – New Payment Processing Startup
• Focus 5 Recruitment – Recruitment partner of Techcelerate.
• Volta – Australian tech startup founded by a Nigerian Founder setting up HQ in Manchester.
• Wellboxes – Amazing spin out during Covid 19 multiplying 7 figure revenues this year.
• Flight Patrol – provide Travel Experiences.
• Positively Distinctive Media
