We started capturing and reporting investment deals of UK tech companies on 18th June 2018. The first edition captured a total of £82.05 million investment raised by 13 companies. Today we issued the 32nd edition reporting 21 investment deals totalling £195.05 million. There is a considerable cost involved in capturing as well as sharing. The time has come to monetise this effort. We are taking two approaches based on the feedback received.

 

Step 1 – Weekly Newsletter

We successfully moved today from MailChimp to Revue as the first step of monetisation and bringing continuing value to Members of the Techcelerate Network. Whilst Revue is not a 100% fit for our specific needs at present, they are nevertheless willing to iterate fast to accommodate our wishes as much as possible.

We will continue to deliver deal news free weekly, but the free version will now be capped at 10 deals a week and will be sent on every Tuesday morning or late Monday evening.

Step 2 – Deal Analysis Application

In order to provide you with greater access to the investment data we collect, we are ready to turn the raw data into a format where you can easily filter and analyse. We have two versions in mind, i.e. Lite and PRO. We need the support of 50 subscribers at £52 per year to validate what you already asked for. Be one of the 45 to support us.

 

 

Once the Lite version is built, the functionality for PRO can be fine-tuned.
