11 Tech Founders met at Chapter of Us in Liverpool this morning to talk about tech companies we are building.

Here’s a summary of the discussion:

• Eric Masaba, Founder & CEO, Texxi – the father of Uber. Eric was one of the Pioneers who came up with ride sharing and piloted it in Liverpool way before Uber. I treat Eric as a good friend and one of the sharpest minds I know of.
• David and Laura Lam – Glad to meet them again after the first event, two years after. Their invention is

• Dr. Roderick Kennedy, Founder & CEO, Simul – Rod was part of the old Techcelerate. He is another brainy guy, who has this time invented a new protocol for Virtual Reality (VR) called Teleport VR.
• Gary Rushgrove, Founder & CEO, Appoint 18 – A golf pro building and commercialising live scoring software for venues.

• Brian Bishop, Founder & CEO of Data Performance Consultancy developing smart cities.
• Akhlaq Choudhury, Founder & CEO of GoGetMeIT, a Techcelerate Member. Akhlaq is building a trusted trade person market place for social housing.
• Rudy Parengal, a Business Transformation Consultant.
• Pauric Greenan, a Radiologist specialising in PACS imaging running Choice Telemed.
